Amy Barton – CRBC’s new Communication & Stewardship Program Manager

The Clackamas River Basin Council is welcoming new staff member Amy Barton as our new Communication and Stewardship Program Manager!

Amy received her bachelors in biology from the University of Oregon and her masters in nonprofit administration from Louisiana State University. Amy owned her own event planning business in Portland before moving to Houston and working at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center as their Development & Marketing Associate. Life moved Amy to New Orleans and there she worked as the Marketing & Social Media Specialist for the Birdfoot Festival. She still serves as Board President for Woodlands Conservancy, a land trust organization in Louisiana.

Amy is very excited to learn more about the Clackamas River Basin and learn more from the people who live, work, and recreate in the region. She looks forward to connecting with the community and finding ways we can come together and promote the health of our watershed.
