10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Tickle Creek Park, Sandy, Oregon
Join the Clackamas River Basin Council and community volunteers for a morning of stewardship at Tickle Creek Park! Together we’ll tackle invasive Himalayan blackberry, a fast-growing plant that spreads aggressively, outcompetes native vegetation, and reduces healthy habitat for fish and wildlife. By removing blackberry, we open space for native plants to thrive, which improves stream-side habitat, stabilizes soils, and supports the overall health of the Clackamas watershed.
What to Bring & Expect:
-
Wear thick clothing and sturdy shoes – blackberry thorns are no joke!
-
Gloves will be provided, but bringing your own is encouraged.
-
Please bring your own water bottle.
-
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to care for a beloved local park, connect with neighbors, and make a positive impact on the watershed. All ages and experience levels welcome!
Please RSVP using the form below – See you there!
