Bonnie Lure State Park Tree Planting Work Party

Date: Sunday, April 10, 2022
Time: 10:00 a.m. to noon
Location: Eagle Creek Trailhead just down the road from 23689 SE Dowty Rd, Eagle Creek, OR 97022 (SEE MAP BELOW)

Join the Clackamas River Basin Council to plant native trees at Bonnie Lure State Park! Join us along Eagle Creek for a morning of environmental stewardship. Bring your favorite tools if you’d like to, otherwise we have you covered!

Eagle Creek feeds into the Clackamas River and provides critical habitat for many sensitive species of plants, fish and wildlife including anadromous species such as salmon. By creating a healthy riparian zone along Eagle Creek we can minimize sedimentation and reduce water temperatures to restore this habitat.

Sign-up for the event by emailing amy@clackamasriver.org or fill out the form below:

This is a family-friendly event, youth are welcome if accompanied by an adult, though activities are most appropriate for ages 5 and up!

Please bring your favorite work gloves, sturdy shoes or rubber boots and dress in layers. Tools and refreshments will be provided.
