    Welcome, new Board Members!

At the February 16th meeting of the CRBC Board of Directors, two new members were ratified.

Ivars Steinblums previously served on the Council as Liaison to the US Forest Service, and now joins the Council as a Citizen-at-Large.   Jack Williamson now represents the USFS.

Clay Courtright, Park Supervisor with the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, will represent State Natural Resource Agencies.

We thank all new board members for their commitment to the Clackamas watershed!

Shade Our Streams Demonstration Sites Planted

The Clackamas River Basin Council is pleased to share that the Shade Our Streams project has hit another accomplishment -- all four of our demonstration sites (over ¾ of a mile) have been planted. This was accomplished using a total of 11,330 native plants, local restoration crews, and 57 dedicated volunteers! CRBC is currently contacting landowners in the watershed to set up site visits, sign up interested individuals and prepare for invasive weed removal activities this summer!
