  • Northwest Coalition for Alternatives to Pesticides (NCAP)
    NCAP is an organization that strongly promotes non-chemical methods of pest control. Their site has detailed approaches to specific weeds and insects, as well as recommendations for personal actions that you can take in your neighborhood.
  • Healthy lawns, healthy families
    A project through Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, providing information on the benefits of natural alternatives. Sign their pesticide-free pledge, and receive a FREE lawn sign.
  • Organic Garden Tips
    Hundreds of tips on organic and natural approaches to keeping your lawn and garden healthy and fruitful.
  • National Invasive Species Information Center (NISIC)
    Find out exactly what that pesky weed or insect is, using the NISIC database for invasive species (sponsored by the US Department of Agriculture).
  • Clean Rivers and Streams
    This local coaltion has information on you can help protect your waterways, by following simple steps in lawn- and home-care.
  • Clackamas County Master Gardeners
    Information on your local chapter of the Oregon Master Gardeners Association, including upcoming workshops and clinics on garden care.
