Join us on Tuesday, September 29th as we clean up litter from Riverside County Park! This event is part of the SOLVE Waterway Cleanup Series, in partnership with Clackamas Water Environment Services.
This cleanup will focus on the land and shoreline at Riverside Park.
The Clackamas River are home to a variety of bird species, including blue heron, cormorant, bald eagles, and osprey. Salmon and steelhead populate the river as well as the nearby Willamette River. We will be removing harmful litter from the trail and shoreline, helping to keep our rivers, wildlife, and natural areas clean and healthy!

When:
Tuesday, September 29th, 2020

Staggered Check-in:
Event check-in will run from 2:30 – 3:00 PM. Arrive anytime during this window. This will allow for a smaller crowd than checking in all at once. Once checked in, volunteers will head in different directions to cover the trail, the park, and river access points along the Clackamas. The event will run through 5:00 PM.

What to Bring:
All cleanup supplies will be provided, but please come wearing a face covering and closed-toe shoes, with a filled, reusable water bottle and sunscreen. If you have your own gloves, litter grabber, and litter bag or bucket, you are encouraged to bring those as well. Observe social distancing throughout the cleanup.

Location:
Volunteers will meet at the South end of the parking lot, by the baseball diamond off of SE Water Ave. Free parking is available here. Look for the SOLVE signs to find the check-in table. MAP.
