The Clackamas River Basin Council (CRBC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, working to foster partnerships for clean water and to improve fish and wildlife habitat and the quality of life for those who live, work and recreate in the watershed. CRBC is led by a Board of Directors representing 21 interest groups, which works closely with local agencies, organizations, landowners and volunteers to implement the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds.

Restoration Program Manager   

Summary of Position:  The primary duties of this position are to plan, organize, coordinate and implement watershed restoration activities in the Clackamas Basin as aligned with CRBC’s mission and priorities established in the restoration action plan and guided by sub-basin assessments. Instream restoration projects involve channel and off-channel habitat enhancements. Riparian enhancement projects involve invasive weed management and re-vegetation with native plants in the Clackamas Basin. Restoration Program Manager, under the direction of the Executive Director, allocates staff and resources among several projects; may lead the work of technical staff, contractors and consultants; reviews design plans and specifications for construction of restoration projects; oversees consultant designs and permit applications for restoration projects; reviews and approves pay requests by contractors and consultants. This position may include supervision of restoration field staff.

Communications and Stewardship Manager

Position Summary: 

The primary duties of this full-time position are to support the Clackamas River Basin Council’s (CRBC) mission by engaging the public, promoting watershed restoration, and implementing education and volunteer opportunities to enhance watershed health.

Communication & Program Coordinator

Position Summary:

The primary duties of this full-time position are to support the Clackamas River Basin Council’s (CRBC) mission by developing communication materials to promote watershed restoration, education, and volunteer opportunities. The Communication and Program Coordinator will develop and update communication outreach materials for programs that focus on engaging rural and urban participants in CRBC activities. Communication may also include one-on-one meetings and group events, which promote the importance of riparian restoration, pesticide reduction, and watershed care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, good attention to detail, and experience in natural resource management and landowner stewardship.
