Volunteering
Thank you for considering volunteering for CRBC! All volunteer efforts are much appreciated by our organization.
One of the keystone pieces of our education and outreach program is our First Saturday Work Parties. Individuals of all ages can get experience planting native trees and shrubs and removing invasive species while learning about how we can improve watershed health. Check out our events page to find out what events are coming up. If you’re part of a business or service organization looking for an opportunity to do good, we’ll be happy to set something up for you. We're also able to provide service projects for Eagle Scouts and potential interns.
If getting stinky is more your speed, look out for information about salmon carcass tossing. These events are dedicated to supplementing Clackamas tributaries with nutrient-rich dead salmon, which provide food for local wildlife and stream insects.
If you have any special skills (from acrobatics to playing the zither) that you'd like to use to help improve our watershed, contact our Education and Outreach Coordinator to let us know! We're happy to have you.
