Clackamas Water Education Team
Pooling Our Resources for Water Education
Members of the Clackamas Water Education Team (CWET), a consortium of educators, are dedicated to promoting hands-on exploration of our local watershed. As such, we provide in-school presentations, resources for teachers, and field trip opportunities.
CWET is coordinating a workshop for 3-5th grade teachers who are in the Clackamas watershed, or whose students may receive water from the Clackamas. We also work together to organize an annual Celebrating Water Earth Day event for 4th and 5th grade students at Clackamas Community College each year. This event features hands-on booths and demonstrations featuring information from water quality monitoring to boat safety!
For information about CWET members, download this guide, which details the types of presentations and opportunities available from each partner.
